About Me
Hi, I’m Jessica,
An executive advisor who guides and nurtures emerging educators as they embark on their journey to family child care ownership. I’ve spent most of my career as an Early Childhood Practitioner for the Palm Beach County Schools. For 25 years, I’ve used my personal and career experiences to advise and mentor others in the classroom or family child care home. As the CEO of Jessica Thurmond Family Child Care Home, LLC I have built a quality program for children, 6 weeks to 12 years old. Now I’m here to teach you how to license and launch your vision.
I have a Bachelor in Science degree in Business Administration: Supervision & Management, and in Child Growth and Development. A recent graduate of the Business & Leadership Institute for Early Learning’s 2020 Master Class.

Mr. Frank Miller
He saw my potential and encouraged me to want more for myself. He allowed me to assist him in the classroom with grading papers and other classroom tasks. This is the moment I believed that I can do anything.
One reason I love what I do:
I love to see the smile on a child’s face when they achieve a new skill.
My favorite way to spend the weekend:
I like spending time with my best girlfriends. We empower each other while we travel and explore the world together.

I graduated from Palm Beach State College with a B.S. Degree in Business Management & an A.S Degree in Child Growth & Development

Anywhere I’m surrounded by peace, love and happiness.
