About Us

Heartland was started by two sisters, Karen and Laura, in 2003. We have an amazing team of Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists who each bring their own unique experiences and gifts to our practice. We will do our very best to match your child up with the therapist who is the best fit for their one-of-a kind needs!

We’re also here to provide additional coaching to assist with developing forms for parents, policies, and procedures and acquiring other services such as child care subsidy contracts, accreditation, and foodservice programs.

How long does the process take?

The process should take up to 90 days.

Are you available to assist me after I obtain my family child care home license?

Absolutely, we offer a mentoring program to assist you from creating your child enrollment packets to lesson plans. We’re also here to guide you in your efforts to getting government contracts and other programs that will benefit the children and families in your care.

Can you help work with families in my child care home?

We are equipped to assist you in working to improve parent involvement, and strategies for children and parents to “play” while they learn at home.
